Get in touch
In the app, open Profile and tap Get help. Replies come back in the app and as a notification. Or email support@wudetroit.com.
Reports about a member's conduct (no-shows, non-payment, unsafe sets, harassment) are reviewed by a person within 24 hours. Use Report on their profile.
Signing in
WUD signs you in with a code texted to your mobile number. There is no password. If the code doesn't arrive, wait a minute and request a new one, and check the number is a US mobile.
Crew calls and bids
Producers post crew calls; crew apply at a fixed rate or place a private bid at or under the posted maximum. Competing crew never see each other's bids, and producers see a bidder's track record before their name.
Bookings and deal memos
A producer sends a booking offer with the terms. When the crew member accepts, WUD prepares a crew deal memo from those terms and both sides sign it in the app. Either side can cancel with a reason before both have signed. The signed PDF is on the booking.
Payments and payouts
- Producers pay for a signed booking upfront. WUD's fee is 3%, plus a 3% surcharge on credit cards only.
- Crew are paid after the producer confirms wrap, less WUD's 3% fee, into the bank account they set up with Stripe under Profile.
- Phone numbers and emails are shared between the two sides once a booking is paid. Before that, chat does not deliver messages containing contact details.
- For a refund or a payment problem, use Get help and include the booking.
